46F this morning in Anthem, AZ. Sunshine with an expected high near 70F. Cool but very pleasant. Still shorts and sandal weather for the snowbirds. When on vacation, truly on vacation, one can vacate regular activities.
For us that meant lounging by the pool in the sunshine, reading actual books (non-electronic - the ones made of paper that require actual turning of pages) and going to the movies. We travelled to the theater to watch "The Post" today and highly recommend it to those who have not yet had a chance to see it. Meryl Streep is excellent (no surprise there,) and for those of us old enough to have lived through the event, very factual. So many parallels to the current political environment.
Reading, lounging, going to the movies - true vacation. We even dined on some Omaha Steaks from the grill. Very relaxing after three days of driving.
